brain decisions makes?

An interesting post re decisions and mr Alan Turing in the smithsonian mag.

Am wondering though, why the link (association?) with Turing? Can it be anything todo with computing?
IDK really.
However it clearly links between Turing’s cracked codes and decisions in the brain. Now given the fact that there is a link that was done by some sort of a brain, I think its safe to claim that unlike the possible underlined suggestion – perhaps my missreading – the brain’s operations are a little bit more dynamic than a reducability to decisions, no?

Has the brain decided to link with Turing, or linked to stuff and then decided keep it with Turing?
