Meritocracy, from a suppressed satirical joke to world domination? Does it feel funny?
It feels like the fascists are winning, no? The interlockage between business, state, authoritarianism (that’s required to keep this going), and economic/political/social power is embedded in the practice that sets its own bars and accepts into its own people that fit the self reflection. Its a conservative view where nothing is ought to change nor alter because power is all one really has.
Is this why china kills more of its own citizens than any other state entity?
