In the marriage of grace gelder to herself, she is talking about a sense of “clarity”. Marriage and clarity. Marriage and aesthetics of clarity? The aesthetics of clarity as marriage? Marriage as an aesthetics marked, or marred, by clarity? Clarity of Marriage as a sense/an-aesthetics?
Reading that, something else came to mind though – the aesthetics of clearly Non–Clear, or clearly chaotic? (ie focus on clarity in being unclear, rather, than for example, chaotic that may focus on chaos itself..)
Or, as the actual element in mind was/is for me, the question of IF. Clarity of If. This clarity is a “from element”, a material to come from rather than a clear boundary – an element of clarity to move for/towards?
The clear and def push of a foot on the floor that produces a surf movement on the skateboard – or a walk – to wards the unknown and a possible fall?
A blow of ifness into a flute that keeps producing a future variation of a unique and unpredictable magic of sound?
A clarity of marriage that produces a sense of Ifness from an individual’s life – while clear about their cohabitational lives?
