TED to Gods to LocalBallStars

How can the language of TED’s chewy presentations like a stab of people to be momentary gods as the holly representatives of various places bid to see which can control the sun best – be made??

OK –

http://ancienthistory.about.com/od/deitiesgeographicindex/Major_Gods_and_Goddesses_of_the_World_and_Mythology_Geographic_Index.htm ( not as bad, had some of the deity linked narratives rather than just listing a name.. )

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_deities ( actually, unrelated, but i rather like the colors on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Standing_Osiris_edit1.svg – none is in your face, yet they are well pronounced..)

http://www.lowchensaustralia.com/names/gods.htm (Interesting categorisation, with the place as well as function contextualisation.)

http://www.godchecker.com/ (hummm.. this one has a league table.. kind of relates well to the ball games..)
