My housemate is going to meet Brighton’s green mp, Caroline Lucas, later today. I asked her to tell our dear MP that I think, unfortunately, she failed.
My housemate asked why am saying that.
Well, check the growing support for UKIP.
Connection?
I think it is well known that in hard economic times, support for the right – and its most bigoted elements in particular – is on the rise. With that in mind, how has the greens in general and Caroline Lucas MP in particular, used the visibility of being in parliament to raise greens’ profile? How come that now the greens are less visible as an alternative and an exciting movement than before they got into parliament? How come their support is going down?
Shame, no?
Rant over.
